Joy Bonner

A high energy vocalist who keeps her audience involved with a custom repertoire of songs spanning from the 1940’s to the current hits of today! She has performed for hundreds of events from fundraisers to corporate celebrations and private parties.
With her original band, The Gurus, Joy has toured the States and Europe promoting their CD, Ritual Dance. The Gurus music has been showcased on TV and had radio airplay with their single “See You As I Do”.
Joy has opened for the Doobie Brothers, Tom Jones, Chris Isaak & Dionne Warwick. Joy was honored to be invited to sing the National Anthem, God Bless America & Take Me Out to the Ballgame at a 2002 World Championship Anaheim Angels game! Joy has also performed on the Wayne Brady Show!

Credits include composing for “Earth Wind & Fire’s multiplatinum song “Getaway”, as well as for other artists such a guitar great Lee Ritenour, Tuck &Patti, Lenny White, Lakeside and Rapper Cassidy.  Movie Credits include: Muppets from Space, The Sixth Man, and TV credits include the Bernie Mac Show, Quantum Leap, Pimp my Ride and other MTV shows as well as TV ads for Comcast and other clients.  In addition Peter has written dance performances, theater, documentaries, corporate videos and multi-media presentations.
